Ahascragh Distillery Water Wheel 2024
Billy Moore Metal Works and myself were tasked with salvaging what remained of the original water wheel from Ahascragh Flour Mill in Co. Galway to re-build and re-install it in its original location for Ahascragh Distillery.
The Distillery is Ireland's first zero emissions distillery, created by Gareth and Michelle McAllister.
The original mill buildings have been painstakingly saved and re born into this fabulous new Distillery.
We were very grateful to play a part in the history of this buildings journey and in particular the reinstating of the Water wheel in its original location.
